Alampally Brothers Ltd is a closely held Public Limited Company promoted jointly by Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation and Alampally Group to cater to the need of LPG cylinders for the public sector Oil Corporations such as Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd and Bharath Petroleum Corporation Limited.

The company is having a capacity to manufacture 360000 new LPG cylinders per annum.  Besides this the company can carry out hot repairing work of around 100,000 cylinders per annum. This is the only LPG Cylinder manufacturing unit in the state of Kerala

Presently labour problems and unnecessary strikes are not prevailing in the state of Kerala as majority of the employees are hailing from the north Indian states.  By implementing the modernization and expansion programme, the company can double the production capacity, improve productivity, and enhance quality and reliability besides achieving substantial savings in the power and raw material requirement.
